The School Board is the Crown entity responsible for the governance of the school. The Board's job is to see that everything that needs to be done gets done - legally, ethically, and as well as possible, in the best interests of its students. The St Mary's School Board is made up of five elected parent representatives - Christina Scott (Chair), Jenna Croft, Celine Stokowski, Nick Muir, Alana Howard; four Proprietor's representatives - Father Joaquin Camano, Mark van Beek, Karen Becker, Suzi O'Malley; a staff representative - Karen Gwaliasi and the Principal - Nigel Tyer. We also have a Board secretary - Steph Nilson.Our Board meets twice per term and the dates are in our school calendar and advertised in the newsletter. These meetings are public meetings and anyone is welcome to attend. The minutes of previous Board meetings are available to the public from the school office.Our School policies are available on School Docs which is a “cloud based” policy and procedure system.
