St Mary’s School is a State Integrated Catholic School for girls and boys up to Year 8 offering an education with a special Catholic Character.
A full primary school, catering for children from Year 0-8; with a current roll (February 2024) of 121. In 2024 the school has six classes, with six full time teachers and one part-time teacher employed. There are three teacher aides to support students, one school office administrator, two cleaners and a part-time caretaker.
We have an excellent core of parents who are available to help in the classrooms, go on school trips and camps and be involved with fundraising, working bees and other school events.We are a well resourced school and have a large number of chromebooks and interactive screens for our students to use in the classrooms.However, without doubt, our greatest asset is “our people.” There is a real sense of community, ownership, commitment and pride in our school from parents, children and staff alike. This is an integral part of the culture of our school and something to be valued highly.
